CONPES Document No. 3917: Reference areas as input for the identification of Zones of Interest for Rural, Economic and Social Development (ZIDRES).

This Policy, considering that the identification of the Zones of Interest for Rural, Economic and Social Development (ZIDRES) will be the responsibility of the Rural Land Planning, Land Adaptation and Agricultural Uses Unit (UPRA), its delimitation will be headed by the National Council for Economic and Social Policy (CONPES) and its approval will be made by the national Government, presents a set of rural reference areas that have been estimated as potential to advance the processes of identification and subsequent delimitation of the ZIDRES, because they comply with the legal conditions and with the recommendations of the UPRA related to agricultural, livestock, forestry and fish farming suitability.
