Management Strategy for Agricultural, Fisheries and Aquaculture Production in Colombia

Fecha de inicio: 01/01/2019
Fecha de fin: 31/12/2022

Description

The strategy seeks to productively transform the Colombian rural sector, aligning agricultural production with market demands and the principles of sustainability. The objective is to promote production that reduces uncertainty and risks for investments, thus improving the competitiveness of the sector. The principles include planting in areas with high productive capacity, focusing production on areas of better performance, and linking production with the market. The strategic objectives range from identifying strategic areas for the organization of production to managing sectoral instruments to improve productivity and competitiveness. An operational route is proposed that includes participatory diagnosis of the chain, indicative production planning with a prospective vision, and the identification of areas with better productive performance, among others.
