Description
The National Adaptation Plan (NAP) is a strategic document or instrument that visualizes adaptation to climate change as a development process that places people at the center of the intervention and is part of the National Planning System. Its implementation is projected until 2030. The vision defined by the policy is that of a Honduras that is resilient to climate change, productive and inclusive, generating decent jobs, taking advantage of the benefits and services of its natural resources in a sustainable way and reducing its vulnerability to climate change with a focus on peoples well-being. The general objective of the NAP is to guide adaptation actions focused on the integration of sustainable development strategies in order to reduce the adverse impacts of climate change and variability in the country.
