The National Development Plan focuses on three essential pillars: peace, equity and education, to overcome the historical challenges of violence and inequality and promote sustainable development. To address these challenges, it proposes five transversal strategies that include Strategic Competitiveness and Infrastructure, Social Mobility, Rural Transformation, Security, Justice and Democracy for the Construction of Peace, and Good Government, focusing on closing development gaps and strengthening state presence. at the territorial level. The plan is ambitious and seeks coordination between the government, private sector and civil society, with a results-based management approach, to move towards a more peaceful, equitable and educated Colombia.
