Agriculture and Fisheries Incentives (Amendment) Act, no. 8, 2022. of Saint Lucia

This law amends the Agriculture and Fisheries Incentives Law No. 13 of 2014. These amendments include updating key definitions to expand the scope of what is considered agricultural and fishery production, including new beneficiaries such as moss producers marine and agroforestry, and the specification of new types of commercial vehicles eligible for incentives. The eligibility criteria to request incentives are adjusted. A detailed process is introduced for the management, review and approval of applications, including provisions for the resignation and revocation of members of the Agricultural and Fisheries Incentives Committee, as well as for the regulation of its meetings and procedures.
