National Water Resources Policy (Panama)

The present PAGIRH 2022-2026 aims to contribute to the increase in the Water Security of Panama, through the prioritization of concrete actions that allow accelerated progress in the implementation of the IWRM. depending on national priorities, needs of the different sectors, institutional capacity and availability of financial resources. The prioritization process was carried out through multi-stakeholder consultation workshops during the months of October and November 2021 with the participation of the public sector, representatives of civil society organizations, the private sector, academia and international cooperation.
