Resolution No. 3 of 2016 that creates special lines of credit in Colombia

Resolution No. 3 of 2016 regulates the Special Lines of Credit (LEC), designed to offer preferential financing conditions to producers in the Colombian agricultural sector. These lines of credit, established under the protection of previous legislation and special government programs, include a subsidy in the interest rate of the credits granted, thus facilitating access to essential financial resources for production, modernization, and technological reconversion in the sector. . The interest rate subsidy is managed by FINAGRO and financed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
