This Agreement approves the authorization procedure for applications related to the use of new genetic improvement techniques (precision biotechnology), which are those genetic improvement procedures that use the precise knowledge of the relationship between genotype and phenotype and the tools of molecular biology that allow developing an organism that in most cases is equivalent or indistinguishable to the one that can be developed using traditional genetic improvement techniques.
