DECREE N° 9,221 Regulation of the Program for the Promotion of Rural Productive Activities in Brazil

The regulatory decree establishes the guidelines for the implementation of the Program to Promote Rural Productive Activities, adjusting and complementing Law No. 12,512 of 2011. This program is coordinated by the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight against Hunger and Its objective is to structure the productive activities of families in rural areas, promote food security, increase income, promote sustainable and agroecological practices, and stimulate associative and cooperative organization. The program provides direct transfer of financial resources to beneficiary families, using the payment structure of the Bolsa Familia Program. Non-refundable financial resources will be up to R$ 4,600.00 per family,
