Law of the Natural Resources and Environment System (N°150) of Cuba

The objective of the law is to regulate the actions of the State, citizens and society in general to guarantee the implementation and functioning of the Natural Resources and Environment System in Cuba. This involves promoting the protection and sustainable use of natural resources and the environment, and ensuring the right of all people to enjoy a healthy environment. In addition, the law seeks to integrate the environmental dimension into economic and social development plans and promote the nation's Natural Heritage. Promotes citizen participation, access to information and education on environmental issues as key elements.
