Bill 23,238 Authorizing the Executive Branch to make direct payments to small and medium-sized rice producers.

The purpose of this law is to authorize the Executive Branch to grant subsidies through a single direct payment to rice producers who have planted one hundred hectares or less for rice cultivation, in accordance with the requirements and procedures established in this law and its regulations. However, this bill was rejected in the Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica (According to Delfino: https://delfino.cr/asamblea/proyecto/23238).
