Law 1448 of 2011 – Victims and Land Restitution Law

Description

Law 1448 of 2011 establishes Colombia’s framework for assistance and comprehensive reparation of victims of the internal armed conflict. Its land restitution component creates a special procedure for restoring land that was dispossessed or forcibly abandoned and establishes the institutional framework responsible for restitution and compensation.
