National Bioeconomy Project Portfolio

Description

It was developed by MICITT with the support of the Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN) of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). To date, the portfolio has identified a total of 88 projects with financing needs in excess of $8 million. These initiatives have varying degrees of maturity, 44.9% are led by women and have varied needs for access to financing, training, partnerships and mentoring.
