Interest forgiveness and debt renegotiation plan in Chile

There are about 56 thousand potential beneficiaries of the credit system of the Agricultural Development Institute (INDAP). The Sowing for Chile Debt Regularization Program seeks to address the rise in prices of inputs for agricultural production and thus contribute to the country's food security. The program implies the forgiveness of 100% of accrued and unpaid interest for delinquent and up-to-date INDAP users. At the same time, it opens the option of renegotiating the balance of delinquent debts within a period of up to 10 years, depending on payment capacity.
