Quadripartite Alliance in One Health

The need to strengthen the resilience of health systems to face international emergencies, such as pandemics and zoonotic threats, is highlighted. The importance of the "One Health" approach to address these complex challenges is emphasized. The Quadripartite Alliance, comprising the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), World Health Organization (WHO) and World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), has called for action to advance the global implementation of this approach, recognizing collaboration as key to addressing problems that no single sector can solve alone.
