Resolution No. 14-2022 on the adoption and harmonization of measures related to the improvement of compliance with ILO Convention 189

Description

(EN) Resolution whose fundamental purpose is to put into practice ILO Convention 189 on decent work for domestic workers. It provides that the domestic work contract must preferably be in writing and registered by the General Directorate of Labour or the Local Authority exercising its functions. It establishes the obligation to register domestic workers with the Ministry of Labour. It also establishes the working day of domestic workers, not exceeding 8 hours per day and not exceeding 44 hours per week. It establishes the weekly rest and the salary of the workers, which must be no less than the minimum wage dictated for this sector.
