Description

The Plan establishes the institutional strategic objectives and lines of action to implement and achieve the objectives. There are 13 strategic objectives. THE OEI.01 is to improve the sustainable management and conservation of biological diversity and ecosystem services with emphasis on the enhancement of natural capital under an approach of integrated management of the territory and natural resources. OEI.02 is Strengthen the control, recovery and remediation of ecosystems and degraded ecosystem services. The OEI.03 is to promote adaptation to climate change and fight against desertification and drought of vulnerable populations, ecosystems and economic agents. The OEI.04 is to promote the reduction of GHG emissions and carbon capture with emphasis on reducing deforestation, as well as Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCPs), by the State, private sector and population. The OEI.05 is to strengthen the prevention, control and mitigation of negative environmental impacts on environmental components. The OEI.06 is to strengthen comprehensive management with emphasis on the valorization of municipal and non-municipal solid waste and waste from prioritized goods. The OEI.07 is to strengthen the sustainability of the production and consumption chains of goods and services within the framework of green growth, the circular economy and eco-efficiency in public and private entities. The OEI.08 is to strengthen the environmental governance of public, private entities and civil society with a territorial, decentralized, inclusive and evidence-based approach. The OEI.09 is to strengthen the education and environmental citizenship of the population. The OEI.10 is to strengthen the disaster risk management of the territories and the MINAM with emphasis on the incorporation of natural infrastructure measures. The OEI.11 is to promote the environmentally sustainable urban development of the Bicentennial City, under the territorial approach, circular economy, eco-efficiency and resilience. OEI.12 is to strengthen a culture of integrity. Finally, OEI.13 is to strengthen institutions aimed at achieving results.
