Organic Law for the Defense and Development of the Peasant Family Economy.

The purpose of this Law is to guarantee the development of the peasant family economy in order to achieve its recovery and consolidation, due to its high importance for the achievement of the country's food sovereignty. The State, in defense and dynamization of this economic and productive segment, shall develop and implement plans, programs, services and public policies in the areas of training and generation of science and technology for the countryside. Mechanisms for productive linkages, market access, technical and financial assistance for the entire production chain linked to this segment will be implemented.
