Description
The Organic Law for the Protection and Development of the Family Farming Economy establishes Ecuador's legal framework for protecting, strengthening and developing family farming and its contribution to food sovereignty. It provides for institutional coordination, registration of family farmers, sustainable production, agroecology, access to land, technical and financial assistance, producer organization, value addition, market access and public procurement.
