Resolution 112/2016 which establishes the functions of the National Advisory Commission on Agricultural Biotechnology (CONABIA).

The resolution of the then Secretariat of Value Added, Ministry of Agroindustry, contemplates and establishes CONABIA's functions as advisor to the former Secretariat "in all matters or issues related to agricultural biotechnology that the Secretariat submits to its scientific-technical evaluation, and to collaborate, when expressly indicated, with other official or private agencies or organizations within the framework of the legal regulations in force.
