The resolution provides a strategic position of the Southern Agricultural Council (SAC) on access to plant genetic resources for food and agriculture within the framework of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA). It also promotes conservation and sustainable use.
