Trends, advances and needs in the process of building public policies for the use of bioinputs have been identified: agreeing on a definition of bioinputs, adapting regulatory frameworks and identifying the role of the State, considering the individual and collective production of bioinputs and recognizing the role of the business sector and the public-private cooperation that must exist to provide sustainability to the practice.
