Panama's Ministry of Environment established the National Climate Change Policy 2050, which sets out a bold and proactive vision to guide actions in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, adapting to climate change and promoting resilience in all sectors of Panamanian society. In line with the Paris Agreement, Panama has developed this comprehensive policy, which sets ambitious goals and concrete measures to mitigate the effects of climate change and ensure sustainable development in the long term.
