Description

The Executive Decree PCM 015-2020 establishes the National Service of Agricultural Health and Food Safety (SENASA) as a National Security Entity, operating under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG), exercising its jurisdiction nationwide, with technical, administrative, and financial autonomy, of indefinite duration, with the objective of safeguarding the protection of individuals, animals, and the preservation of plants, as well as the conservation and safety of their products and by-products against the harmful effects of economically and quarantinarily significant pests and diseases.
