Draft Resolution 461 creating the "Bioprepared" category for the authorization and commercialization of agricultural inputs/products.

The draft establishes the procedure for registration, scope, definitions and requirements associated with biopreparations. The project promotes the use of biopreparations through regulation and standards. This initiative, together with initiative 461 on bioinputs, includes funding of up to 50 million Argentine pesos for projects. Both proposals seek to replace fertilizer imports and reduce the use of chemical products. This proposal is in line with MERCOSUR.
