The Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Strategy – EBIA assumes the role of guiding the actions of the Brazilian State in favor of the development of activities, in its various aspects, that stimulate research, innovation, and development of solutions in Artificial Intelligence, as well as its conscious, ethical use and in favor of a better future. Aligned with the OECD guidelines endorsed by Brazil, the EBIA is based on the five principles defined by the Organization for responsible management of AI Systems, namely: (i) inclusive growth, sustainable development, and well-being; (ii) values centered on human beings and equity; (iii) transparency and explainability; (iv) robustness, security and protection and; (v) responsibility or the rendering of accounts (accountability).
