Description
The LAC region is very important in the history of South-South cooperation. The United Nations Conference on Technical Cooperation between Developing Countries was held in Buenos Aires in 1978. In 2000, Cuba hosted the first South Summit resulting in the Havana Programme of Action, from where the Havana Programme of Action on Technical Cooperation Among Developing Countries was originated.
