Description
The Project Development Objective (PDO) is to contribute to restoring agricultural livelihoods and enhancing climate resilience of farmers and fisherfolks affected by Hurricane Maria in Dominica. The direct beneficiaries of the project are crop and livestock farmers, fisherfolks, and producer organizations affected by Hurricane Maria in all ten parishes of Dominica. An estimated 4,900 individual farmers and fisherfolks are expected to benefit directly from the project. At least 20 percent of the beneficiaries will be rural women, most of whom head single-parent households and are one of the population groups that have been most affected by the hurricane.
