The Free Trade Agreement between Ecuador and China establishes rules to promote bilateral trade through tariff barrier reduction, rules of origin, customs procedures and trade facilitation, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, technical barriers to trade, trade remedies, investment, electronic commerce, competition, transparency, dispute settlement, and economic cooperation. The agreement entered into force on May 1, 2024.
