The creation of the National Policy on Wetlands and Coastal Marine Spaces of Honduras responds to the national environmental priorities defined in the Country Vision 2010-2038, the National Plan 2010-2022, the National Agenda 2030 (SDGs), the Strategic Plan of Government 2018-2022 "Honduras Advances with Firm Steps", the Environmental Policy and the Biodiversity Policy of Honduras.
