Description
It is a set of proposals aimed at lowering the price of rice in Costa Rica. The initiative reduces the import tariff on rice from 36% to a maximum of 5% by means of Decree 43642 (Available in OPSAa at: https://opsaa.iica.int/frame-3522) and repeals the pricing of paddy rice and milled rice (Available in OPSAa at https://opsaa.iica.int/frame-3523).
