Description

The purpose of this Fund is to cover the losses of establishments affected by agricultural emergencies, such as those resulting from extreme climatic, sanitary, or phytosanitary events that decisively affect the viability of producers in a region or industry. It is owned and administered by the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries, and is regulated by Decree 829/2008.
