This Law establishes the guidelines of the State Agrifood Policy for the development of the agricultural and livestock sector, with equity and sustainability, which ensures the application of agrotechnology, productivity, competitiveness, food sovereignty and legal security with an inclusive, territorial and sustainable approach. It is aimed at generating jobs and promoting the rural economy, which integrates intersectoral actions that make it possible to produce food in quantity and quality that is accessible throughout the value chain and to the consumer.
