Description
The legal basis of the Food and Nutrition Security Policy (PSAN) is based on the Political Constitution of the Republic of Guatemala. Article 2, Duties of the State, guarantees the life, security and integral development of the inhabitants. Article 94 specifies the obligation of the State to provide health and social assistance (PSAN, 2005)
