National Entrepreneurship Policy 2015-2030 (Governmental Agreement 150-2015)-GUATEMALA

Fecha de inicio: 22/06/2015
Fecha de fin: 31/12/2030

Description

The National Entrepreneurship Policy is justified on the basis of the main challenges that arise regionally to promote entrepreneurship: the existing deficiencies in the generation of entrepreneurial capacities at the different levels of the educational system and the lack of entrepreneurial culture at the general level, confirm the need to provide the region with particular public policies that allow encouraging the creation and growth of new companies. and specifically the creation of non-credit instruments that support the financing of entrepreneurial initiatives. The entrepreneurship policy seeks to strengthen the entrepreneurship chain (awareness-raising, identification, formulation, start-up and acceleration) by defining Guatemalas competitive advantages such as its strategic location, young entrepreneurs, tenacity and willingness towards entrepreneurship, based on the existing support institutions in the ecosystem such as incubators, accelerators, personnel training entities, market intelligence, advisors or consultants in entrepreneurship, referring specifically to strengthening the support industry to efficiently promote the entrepreneurial spirit and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Guatemalan population.
