National Cleaner Production Policy (Governmental Agreement 258-2010)-GUATEMALA

This policy contributes to social welfare, economic growth, increased competitiveness, improved environmental quality, and the rational use of natural goods and services through the application of Cleaner Production as a tool for socio-environmental management. Introducing production and consumption patterns more friendly and in harmony with the environment, using Cleaner Production as an effective tool that supports, aligns and coordinates the actions of the public and private sectors to achieve sustainable development, through promotion and prevention actions to support sustainable economic growth in Guatemala.
