National Policy for Scientific Development and Technology 2015-2032-GUATEMALA

This policy takes as its starting point the Indicator of Scientific and Technological Capacity, which is determined by the degree of academic training of human capital. In this sense, this policy, based on a human development approach, will aim to direct efforts to increase the formation of high-level human capital. Under the human development approach, the formation of high-level human capital is relevant, however, research, innovation, technology transfer and scientific-technological dissemination and promotion must be addressed as processes that must be promoted jointly, under the guidelines of this policy.
