The Policy represents the general mechanism through which the application of measures is sought to enable women to achieve integral development, in order to make effective the principle of real and effective equity between women and men, which at the same time enable Guatemala to comply with the Millennium Development Goals and Targets. the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, the Convention on the Prevention, Punishment and Elimination of Violence against Women, the Platform for Global Action and others at the national and international levels.
