Farm Income Protection Act (S.C. 1991, c. 22).

The present Act authorizes agreements between the Government of Canada and the Provinces to provide for protection of the income of producers of agricultural products and to enable the Government of Canada to take additional measures for that purpose. The text – consisting of 30 sections – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: accounts, payments out of consolidated revenue fund, reports to Parliament, transitional provisions. The present Act has been amended last on 1 March 2013, as current to 9 November 2016.
