Description

The fundamental objective of the National Quality Policy (PNCal) is to contribute to the countrys productivity and competitiveness, improving the conditions of national and international trade in goods and services, through the deployment and strengthening of the institutionalization of the National Quality System, articulating coordination and linkage actions that will allow it to have with the public sectors, private and academic, to focus the efforts of the Ministry of Economy on the issue of quality, and contribute to making companies more competitive in the medium and long term. The National Quality Policy (PNCal) also contributes to protecting consumers from products that enter and are processed in the country through metrology, accreditation and technical regulations, since it requires compliance with standards related to quality, safety, health protection, and the environment, among other aspects.
