Latin America and the Caribbean: ECLACs proposal to promote a change in the regions development

Government representatives from 33 member countries of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) concluded the thirty-ninth session of the United Nations Regional Commission, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from October 24th to 26th, with the approval of the proposals presented by ECLAC to promote a change in the style of development and ambitious transformative actions for a sustainable recovery, following the cascade of crises that the region has suffered in recent years.
