The policy has an intersectoral approach. Its objective is to make the right to food a reality, eliminating poverty and social inequalities in the country. In order to address the problems related to food and nutritional security, the document establishes eight strategic lines of action aimed at intervening in aspects of production, sanitation and food safety.
