Description

This Decree establishes the National Womens Entrepreneurship Strategy "Brazil for Elas" and the Womens Entrepreneurship Committee. "Brazil for Elas" is a public policy to strengthen female entrepreneurship as an alternative instrument for the socioeconomic development of the country. Its objectives are the following: I - to promote an environment favorable to the development of female entrepreneurship as a tool for economic and individual freedom; II - Promote access to information on public policies, instruments and services that support the womens entrepreneurship agenda; III - Expand the supply of credit through the mobilization of public and private resources for investment and financing of womens entrepreneurship; IV - To promote actions that contribute to the economic autonomy of women in vulnerable situations, in accordance with the provisions of the "Auxilio Brasil" Program; and V - promoting the development and financial sustainability of the enterprise, through: (a) entrepreneurship education focused on the needs of women entrepreneurs; b) dissemination of support networks for female entrepreneurship; and c) strengthen the ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship and socio-environmental impact.
