Agrarian Policies of Brasil

Since 2003, the government has pushed for a broad review of its agricultural policy instruments for marketing and income guarantee. The objective is to increase the efficiency of public resources and expand the direct participation of private initiative in the process of stabilizing the income of producers. For this reason, the government has promoted the improvement of cooperation and coordination between the members of the productive chains to overcome budgetary restrictions in the execution of price and income guarantee programs.
