Decree 1176 of 2022 – Zero Import Tariff on Fertilizers and Pesticides

Decree 1176 of 2022 temporarily established a zero percent tariff on imports of 22 tariff lines covering fertilizers and pesticides, aiming to reduce the import costs of agricultural inputs, support price stability and improve the competitiveness of agricultural and agro-industrial activities. The measure extended and consolidated tariff reductions adopted through earlier regulations and remained in force until April 5, 2023, after which the general tariff was to be restored.
