Description

The strategy aims to promote the development of family farming in Bolivia, contributing to food and nutritional security, the rural economy and sustainable development. To this end, the strategy is based on the following principles: Equity: family farming must be a priority sector for public policies; Inclusion: family farming must be inclusive, recognizing the diversity of production systems and the rights of family farmers; Sustainability: family farming must be sustainable, respecting the environment and natural resources. The strategy establishes the following lines of action: Strengthening of family farmers organizations; Access to productive and financial resources; Promotion of research and innovation; Marketing of family farming products; Social protection of family farmers.
