Peru: Law No. 31410 Civil Service of Graduates for the Agrarian Sector - SECIGRA AGRARIO

The Civil Service of Graduates for the Agrarian Sector (Secigra Agrario) has the following objectives: - To contribute to the adequate scientific and technical preparation of students and graduates of careers related to the agricultural activity. - To provide technical assistance and training in topics related to agrarian development, throughout the production chain, and contribute to the generation of research, technology transfer, innovation and productivity for the agrarian sector, with emphasis on the agrarian producer in conditions of poverty and extreme poverty, and peasant and native communities, among others. - Provide a specialized and alternative training modality. - Strengthen agricultural university extension in order to provide society with trained professionals who have experience in the performance of their profession.
