National Coordinated Plan for the Promotion and Development of Organic or Ecological Production (PLANAE) 2021–2030 — Supreme Decree No. 011-2021-MIDAGRI

The National Coordinated Plan for the Promotion and Development of Organic or Ecological Production (PLANAE) 2021–2030, approved by Supreme Decree No. 011-2021-MIDAGRI and published on June 24, 2021, is Peru's national planning instrument for promoting and strengthening organic or ecological production. The plan prioritizes family farmers and guides public action toward increasing productivity and sustainably managing natural resources, improving quality standards for organic production, strengthening research and technology transfer through an agroecosystem approach, consolidating the commercialization of organic products in domestic and international markets, and strengthening the institutional framework for organic production. Its actions include capacity building, technical assistance, research and innovation, market linkages, strengthening producer organizations, and coordination among public institutions and stakeholders involved in organic production. The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation leads its implementation and monitoring in coordination with the relevant institutions. Its planning horizon covers the 2021–2030 period.
