Regional Development Facility in Transition

On May 7, 2018, in the framework of the thirty-seventh session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Havana, Cuba, ECLAC and the European Commission signed a framework agreement for ECLACs participation in the implementation of the European Union (EU) Regional Facility for Development in Transition. in cooperation with the OECD. Through the Regional Facility, the EU strengthens its collaboration with partner countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as with multilateral organisations, supporting the design and implementation of public policies that facilitate the process of transition to higher income levels and to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
