Partial Scope Economic Complementation Agreement No. 45 between the Republic of Ecuador and the Republic of Nicaragua

Partial Scope Economic Complementation Agreement No. 45 between Ecuador and Nicaragua establishes a bilateral preferential trade framework aimed at strengthening and expanding trade in goods between the two countries. The Agreement grants tariff preferences to originating goods, eliminates incompatible non-tariff restrictions, and incorporates rules of origin, safeguards and trade remedies, technical barriers to trade, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, commercial cooperation, and institutional mechanisms for administration and dispute settlement. The negotiated tariff preferences reach 100 percent for the products included in its annexes.
