The objective of El Salvador's policy is to promote the transformation of the agricultural sector to ensure the sustainability of natural resources, food security and resilience to climate change. To this end, it intends to work on three strategic axes; the sustainability of production systems through the application of good agricultural practices, improvement of productivity and living conditions of rural families and, finally, the management of agroecosystems towards the fulfillment of national commitments to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
